If I needed to print some papers (like around 5-6) that are already on my laptop, can i just put the files into a 1gb portable usb and connect it?
Where can i go to print some papers? Library? PC bang? or where else?
I never been to either so i'm not sure how it works... or how much it cost! |

| I'd say about 75% of PC bahngs have printing capability. However, many don't have/support MS Office programs like Word or PowerPoint. Happy hunting. |

Most neighbourhoods have a copy shop, bookstore or stationery store, where they provide photocopying, laminating, etc. services.
Look the for the word 'boksa' for photocopying, on the window of shop that looks like it does printing, etc. or at a small stationery store or bookshop.
Usually about 100won or less a copy. |

Really? I'd say more like 20% have a printer. |

This is an option if you're in Seoul. There are also the Korean equivalent shops all over the place. Look for signs that say things like 인쇄 (printing) or 복사 (copying). These shops are everywhere in Korea, even small towns. They do things like printing, photocopying, sending and receiving faxes, printing business cards, etc. The mom and pop shops are usually cheaper than Kinkos too. |

Yeah, Kinkos is pricy for everything. I use it only as a last resort. There are plenty of local 'mom and pop' shops that offer the same service for a fraction of the price, and these little shops are ubiquitous. |

I'd agree that it's more like 20% of pc bangs have a printer. That said, i think that a lot of them can print an RTF file or a DOC file (old MS Word, not DOCX format).
Still, there seem to be plenty of print shops around. Libraries seem to have printers that you can pay to use, especially at universities. Also, if there's a university nearby, you could probably just go in to an office and someone would print it up for free.
Can't you just print them at your school though? |

Pc bangs are fine, may need to hunt around though, in future I would suggest dropping 60,000 won on a scanner/ copier / printer. I just got one and it does save alot of hassle
Check g market or even check the buy/sell forums on here
You won't regret it |

Slightly on topic:
Is there anywhere that I can go to get photos printed onto cardstock? I want to get a few pictures printed on to something about as thick as a normal postcard if possible. If the little print shops around town can do it, what's the Hangul I should be hunting for?
Thanks! |
