my language exchange partner really wants to improve her grammar/sentence structure, any suggestions on books/websites that could help me teach this to her?
also, we are going to start reading a book in english together, one chapter a week. suggestions on how/what to discuss? |

I've always been partial to the "in Use" series. Grammar in Use, phrasal verbs in use, collocations in use, business vocabulary in use, idioms in use etc. Most sets of books have various levels, and the grammar books have self-tests in them to see which units they need to focus on. The other ones you can probably just do start to finish.
You can find them all from usual online sources if you want.. |
