| Good luck with that now though, government's supposed to be shutting down at the end of this week. A lot of divisions will stay open, but passport processing is not one of them. |

| Looks like you got a two-week reprieve; they passed a budget bill that'll give them until March 18th to get their act together. Anyway, I recently had to replace my passport and it took exactly two weeks to be delivered to me. Talk to the embassy about it. |

You do realize the Dept. of State website is more useful than anyone on this board right?
And if you sent in your form already, you can only wait. A faster way to get a passport is to set up an appointment at a passport agency office. |

| Yeah; it's like $300 for a new passport, man ( it also takes forever to get an appt at an agency office). |

| If its a US passport go to the Embassy. I got mine in 5 business days no expediting fee necessary delivered to me. It cost the normal passport fee and 8k to have it delivered. |
