| I was going to work an extra 1-2 months at my school before they decided they didn't need me. My visa runs out on the 2nd. They will give me a release letter and extend my visa a month so I can stay and find another job. A recruiter is telling me they can't extend my visa and then transfer it to another school...anyone know if this is the case? |

IF you have a paid for - working extension then YES you can transfer.
If you have the "free" 30-day extension you cannot.

hmm, well apparently if I extend my visa with my current school now, just before it's about to expire and then transfer it to a new school shortly after, according to new immi law I'm going to need the new CRC etc...
Looks like I need a new job by Monday. |
