Is it possible to use the Woori Telephone Banking service abroad? I need to send money from my Woori account to another, but can't remember any of my login details for Internet banking (And the site practically crashes anyway) so I need to do a 송금 via the phone. Is this possible? |

Stop. Get a KEB account immediately. Don't let you school tell you that it's impossible. Go now. If you're near Gangnam, I think there's a branch open on Saturdays. |

Sorry, I'm just saying that KEB is the only bank equipped to deal with foreigners. I've dealt with KB for years and every little thing I needed was pure torture. KEB actually has a Mac-specific banking utility - even if you don't have a Mac, that will tell you the extent that they go to for foreign customers.
They also do practically-instant foreign remittance online. |
