This is my Philips Satinelle Epilator. It was originally 100,000 at a Philips store and I believe I have gotten my money's worth out of it. It has saved me money on razors (which are ridiculously expensive here) and waxing (expensive/painful/and just down right bad here). I also go it because I have thicker hair on my legs and even after I had shaved you could still see the hair through the skin. I was also shaving everyday and that was too much of a hassle. My hair is now MUCH thinner than before and I only have to use the epilator about every 10 days to two weeks. It is painful at first but it gets better with time because the hair kind of gives up and starts coming out very easily. It also doesn't pull the skin like waxing.
I would take it with me but it's too much of a hassle with the power conversion. However, I will be getting another when I go back to the states. It has been cleaned and sterilized.
Originally 100,000 but asking 30,000. It can be shipped. In Baekseok, Ilsan. Hurry though because I'm leaving on Wednesday March 2nd.
*Note: Not for men. Boys can't handle the pain. (it's for legs and arms; not chests and backs)

FYI: Razors are very cheap here, you can get a pack of 7 Bic lady shavers for 2 or 3 thousand won at Daiso.
But that doesn't matter because Epilator's are the shit!!!!!!! I have one and I am also cursed with thick hair. The epilator really does thin out bushy legs. It is painful, but once you start, the pain becomes addicting. I love my epilator and would recommend anyone who is tired of shaving every day to buy one. They are awesome. |

I never had good luck finding razors. I would get the replaceable heads because I didn't like disposables. Mine would be about 8k for 4. My husband's are even worse. But, it's really not about the money unless you like waxing and then it's a much cheaper option. It reminds me of tweezing my eyebrows. The first time I did that I cried because of the pain. Now, I don't even notice. I don't even notice the pain of the epilator anymore. It didn't take me too long to get used to it either. I love that little bugger. I don't want to have to throw it away. |
