I met a K female friend and went up to Seoul to check out that Hi Seoul festival.

First checked out the new City Hall plaza. Only thing going on their was the arm wrestling and the evening light show which I didn't catch.

Took the subway over to Gwanghwamoon to see the Sejong exhibits.

Made a B-line through Kyobo to check out the reading material.

Had a meal and went over to Insa-dong and walked down the street.

Got home at 6pm. Pretty cool day.

Seoul was jammed with Koreans, as usual on holidays.

Cleaned the apartment with my hubby,
got groceries for the next week,
played a game,
watched tv,
enjoyed the beautiful weather,
admired the flowers I got for my 1st anniversary (thanks, love!)
and had a great day all-around!

I've read about this in another thread, but I didn't see you write what actually happened? Did I miss it?

Please spill the beans.

I was drunk... but didn't have a hangover. As I recall, you yourself said that I was in better shape than most people the next morning...

Spent most of the day sick (though not as a result of any drinking the night before) then went out with a friend to E-Mart (also should be called the Cheonho National Zoo...cripes!) and then had dinner at Outback. Then came home.

Met my GF. We had a nice pic-nic at shiny but crowded Worldcup Park(me, her and her dog). Caught some balls. Did some shopping on our way back. Bought a couple of nice shirts on sales from "Thursday Island". Ate crab dish "Kot Ge Tang" for dinner. It was great! Smile

Went to Namdaemun to buy a camera, got the subway over to Singil then a cab up to Pongwongsa- can't believe there's a temple so close to where I live- beautiful weather, no crowds, felt very de-stressed, met friends in Jong-no for beer and tea.
I frigging love having a day off mid-week
