It would be funnier if I hadn't heard all of it six million times before.

If you think it's bad now (and many don't since expats from the West are pouring into Korea), think of what it was like in the late 1980s and 90s. Nearly 100 percent of this board had posts on people who got screwed over in pay, housing and everything else under the sun.

"Would you like to go to dinner?"
"Yes, but only if we go to Outback Steakhouse and you pay the bill. I will order the cream spaghetti."
"That sounds great. Perhaps we can go to Starbucks afterwards and talk about English grammar and cultural differences."

ahahaha, love it! Razz

COuldn't even finish it due to lameness. The first 15 seconds or so were okay, then any semblance of subtlety went out the window. "Foolish American. You treat your contract like it was a contract" Rolling Eyes
...."nobody speaks English there." "Wait, you mean the agency that is supposed to help foreign workers has no one who can speak English?" (good thing he asked that question to clarify what she was getting at the way he did, or I totally wouldn't haven't gotten the "joke")
