Do a search on here (just put in "Wonderland" and nothing else or else it won't work)-there are a million reviews on Wonderland and none of them are great. The above poster is being super sarcastic. DON'T DO IT!!!!

Yeah I understand some Wonderlands have terrible reviews though there seems to be so many mixed reviews, so I wondered if anybody knows anything about this one?

I have heard a few neutral stories about Wonderland. Tons of negative ones, and not one positive one, ever.

As I've said before, suppose there was an airliner taking off with 100 seats and you knew that:

10 seats were going to fall out of the plane mid-flight
10 passengers would get food poisoning
10 would be seated next to violent alcoholics
10 would get vomited on
10 would be next to screaming babies
10 would be next to Christian evangelists who couldn't shut up
10 would be seated next to morbidly obese people
10 would get mistakenly arrested by the air marshal
10 would have seatbelts that refused to release them upon arrival
and 10 would arrive safely at their destination after a mildly unpleasant ride.

Would you get on that flight? If not, you'd be an utter idiot to try your luck with a Wonderland. This chain has beat out some very, very stiff competition to earn it's place as the hagwon chain with the worst reputation in Korea.

Heard some horror stories. If the place wasn't in Seoul you'd never be considering it. Avoid it mate.

Any positive reviews on Wonderland are probably written by expats with their directors looking over their shoulders, threatening to fire them if they don't tell other foreigners about how great their P.O.S. hagwon is.

Bullshite. I've said several good things about both of the Wonderlands I've worked at, and at neither one was I threatened by my boss. They were genuinely good and I had good relationships with the schools. Each one wanted me to remain a 3rd year, but I couldn't because I was ready to move to a new area of Korea.

There are good Wonderlands, and there probably more bad ones than good ones, but that doesn't mean good ones don't exist.

It always amazes me that people even consider Wonderland as an option.

Agreed. Its not like one doesn't have any other option. Even given a choice between two bad hogwon jobs, Wonderland would have to be the worse of that choice. I've known a few people work for them and I wouldn't wish that hell on anyone.
What amazes me is the ones that say 'well, what about this one here?'. Sorry, but if you take it and it doesn't work out...as most of us expect... no sympathies here.
