| I'm thinking of trying out a temple stay next weekend, anywhere in the country really, distance is not an issue. Any recommendations for the most scenic mountain or lakeside temple? |

Golgulsa, outside of Gyeongju, is really nice, but only when the trees have leaves.
It consists of a series of buildings winding up a narrow valley with high trees on each side, leading up to a temple at the top which has a nice view east.
Search for "Templestay Korea", and find the temple on the website. |
