| my husband and I have a two week old and I'll be returning to work in April. I'm pretty sure that we don't qualify as a "multicultural family" as we are both US citizens (although my husband is an F4) so we'll probably have to pay full cost. But does anyone have any good tips for researching childcare? I'm having a really hard time finding facilities that take infants. We live in Ilsan (Gyeonggi-do) so if there are any expats out there who know of places, we'd love the info! |

if u look around apartment buildings they have childcare on first floor apartments. They are like private apartment modified to kindergarten. Key point that their groups are small and they accept very young kids also.
We used to send our son to one like these from 2 to 4 years. Now we are looking for kindergarten but it is very expensive here in Osan (something like 375-450K per month).
For us foreigners without government support it is very difficult send our kids to kindergartens. |
