Hey guys,
I just got a job with EPIK and I was just wondering if they cover dental or not? I am leaving in a couple of days and feel a little pain on my wisdom tooth, if I need to get it removed, will it be covered?
Thanks! |

Don't think so... mine wasn't, but the dentist only charged me like 7000 won a tooth |

It depends. Go to the dentist and see if it is covered. |

I've been to several dentists and it varies as they usually set their own prices. Root canal was only 250,000 won so regardless it's way cheaper here than in the west. |

I paid a total of 50,000 for my root canal which took 5 visits. It is covered by insurance so just go for it. |

Call and ask. Some places do accept, some don't. It depends.

I had some cavities filled, and my wisdom teeth pulled. It wasn't covered where I went. But I was making so much money, and really, in the USA it would have cost so much more, so I didn't care.
Make sure you tell them you want pain/numbing meds. |

I dont think scaling / checkups are covered.
If you have a cavity, you must get amalgam fillings if you want it covered - I guess that was the 7000 won a tooth the other poster was talking about. And dentists anywhere will try to up-sell you to porcelain or gold, so be aware of that. |

Sometimes when it's expensive they don't cover, the cheaper stuff they cover, you have to check.

I think it pays for about 75% of the cost of root canals. Doesn't cover crowns or implants obviously. |

Call your employer or insurance agency, only they should know.
