ah Nagwon...man, Ill let you know, it used to be full of cool vintage gear. I could buy the cool old japanese gtr pedals that now go for $300plus. I used to buy them for 20,30, 50000 won. I bought a 1971 Gretsch 6120 for like 1200000 which was like $940 back then. Alot of guitars where cheaper then. Pedals and Keyboards. Then the net hit, and things went up, when Korea tried to follow Japan's vintage scene, but then the economy went south, and the young Korean players want the new things, and then Nagwan REALLY went high to make up for slow sales. That Vintgae Guitar place now has half cheap Chinese acoustics when they used to have lovely Gibson Firebirds and 335's. I havent been back in 2+ years. I just buy alot in Japan instead. sad really...

There was a store called UNDERGROUND run by a really cool K-hippie guy. He knew every old rocker and had stuff everywhere. I used to buy stuff for him when ID go to Japan (for a nice fee), but he folded two years ago, telling me he was sick of everyone asking for the same 3 pedals. He had lovely posters and pictures of all his K-rocker friends and customers. It had so much character, and he always had the most random guitar stuff. It was lovely. He'd pour you a tea (his hobby was goriwn green tea in his country place)..Now, its been taken over by these two young longhairs who sell the SAME shit as every other store in Nagwan, the same pedals, the gear. They act all badass, but its so sad. They even covered up all of his old pictures with the ugliest us rocker in Korea (tm) posters. I think UnderGround and maybe 2 more stores were the last hope in Seoul music stuff. Crazy Analog had a ton of cool stuff in the beginning, but they just expoerted it... hmm
