I've been living over here in South Korea for a bit and was pretty curious about what the deal is with North Korea. I found this article and think it does a good job of explaining the country's division, it feels more 'fair' and even handed about he whole thing than how the Western media usually portrays the situation.

| very one sided. leaves out a whole lot. The visit by Kim to Mao and Stalin asking for their support and permission to start a war. Stalin's promise to support the North's war effort. The article makes it seem that the poor little North was just so provoked. Kim started planning the war a year before time. Trying to make a nationalist hero out of Kim il Sung. Give me a break!!! Really second rate thinking and research by the author. |
