|

I submitted my Canadian criminal background check (I'm technically a citizen, but living in the US) and when I get it back it apparently needs to be notarized. My question is.. is there any way I can do this in the States?? Or since it's a Canadian document, does it have to be notarized in Canada?
Hopefully I can get around this, travelling back just for this would be a huge hassle.
Any help would be great! |

Ask the person accepting your documents. If they don't mind it being apostille in the United States, you won't have a problem. The only issue is if you're trying to deal with Korean Immigration it's difficult to contact them.

Canadian CBC needs to be certified by the Korean consulate in Canada.
(or K-immi won't accept it).
Don't know any easy way for you to get it done.

Hmm ok. I was either going to go to a Canadian embassy in my state and see if they could do it, or mail it to a Canadian relative and have them help me take care of it |
