Hey guys,
Got a job offer in Seoungbuk. Is this area fun? How close is it from the action? |

Seongbuk is fine. I work in the area but live in Gangbuk. It's pretty central. No matter where you live you will have to travel to whatever "action" you're looking for. Near Hyehwa for restaurants and a quiet drink. However, one of Korea's largest redlight districts is located in Seongbuk if that's the action you mean. |

Sungshin women's university area, Korea university area all have places to eat and drink. Hyehwa is very near.
You might not be within walking distance to anything but not everyone can just expect to live in the heart of Hongdae or whatever.
You could do worse than Seongbuk. Line 4 is convenient to go to Hyehwa and Dongdaemun - russian food and beer!
Line 6 provides convenient access to Itaewon. |
