So I got a job offer here. How is the area? Is it really far from nightlife? |

haha, i used to live in that exact location. at woorim officetel. i was there in 2007 and at the time there was no subway station there. but now there is. it's a 15 min bus ride from hongdae so you're not too far away. |

I live in this exact location. It's on the express line, so it is about a half hour subway ride to Gangnam. It's pretty close to Hongdae for nightlife (about a 10,000 cab ride at the end of the night). |

I moved into the Deungchon-dong hood a few months ago. So far, I really like it. It's a very middle-class type area, with convenient transportation and food stores close by. Also close to the han river biking/blading path.
The area is by no means any sort of attraction, but overall, a pleasant place to live.
10,000won cab ride from/to Hongdae
15-20,000won ride (depending on the route) to Itaewon |
