So it has been revealed!

Who is getting one?

Is everyone hyped or disappointed with its new features?

When do you think they will officially hit South Korea?

Thoughts?

Apple Korea website hasn't been updated with the iPad 2 info so I doubt it'll come out here on Mar.25 when it's released outside the U.S. I'm sure Samsung and LG prefer that the iPad gets tied up in the SK regulatory hoops for a long time.

I have an iPad right now, and I like it. I don't need any of the features on the iPad 2, though (thinner, lighter, faster), so I'm going to wait to upgrade until they release an iPad with a higher resolution screen. That's the one feature I think it's missing.

I'll be getting a couple of 64gig WiFi ipads.

I was braced for a incremental upgrade rather than something revolutionary. I have two 64gig right now and they are always filled with videos, so I was disappointed that they didn't offer a 128gig version.

Unfortunately, I didn't see Korea on the list of countries with a late March release.

Price seems decent. It looks more than decent too. Actually, it's pretty sexy...

After sitting through a dinner a couple of weeks ago with co-teachers taking pictures with the Galaxy tab, I groan at the idea of a camera on this thing. It's so awkward to take pictures with, and unlike a digi-cam or a phone is big and gets in the way. I'll excuse a clearly professional photographer blocking something with a giant camera much more than Joe iPad-owner clicking away on his cool new toy because he can't be bothered with a digital camera.

Maybe I was just pissed because he took a pictures ever 10 degrees while spinning in a circle. In the front of the room. While the VP was congratulating the Principal on retiring. But really.

I'm in the US now and fortunately, I'll be here during the Ipad 2 launch. You bet your @!$ that I'm gonna pick up one of those badboys.

I would pick up an extra one, but I believe you are limited to 1 Ipad when entering the country?

Only Apple can get away with the bare minimum upgrade and still get people to drool all over it.

If this thing is really the next step in computing how come you still have to tie it to a PC? Where's the micro USB port? Support for SD memory? (well Apple wouldn't want to kill their nice business model of selling you a model with more memory for a huge price increase) The ability to play most media without converting it? (again they want to control ever aspect of the user experience) Where's FLASH? Where's... This list could go on forever.

I'm still not convinced there is even a market for tablets, but the upcoming honeycomb, Web OS and even Blackberry tablets sure look a heck of a lot better on paper.

Let me introduce you to Madoka. He has at least nine laptop computers, multiple high end vehicles, routinely spends $2000 a time on face cream, and has an empty apartment just sitting in Seoul while he lives in another country.

I sold my old ipad today. I'm getting a 3g kindle instead of the ipad 2, as I used it mainly for ebooks. I use my smart phone for email and skype.

Maybe this is a good place to ask this and maybe it isn't, but are there any tablets that come close to replacing a netbook? I'm in the market for a new computer, am drawn to tablets because of the sex appeal, but need the functionality of a netbook (Flash, Internet cable ports, USB ports, etc.)
