I'm sitting here drinking my Chaing's and thinking I want to hear about some good songs for ESL classes. One song I came up with is The Beach Boys "Let's Do It Again". Listen to it, I think most people can relate to the lyrics and the lyrics are definately useful for an ESL class.

When I look at all that ESL Karaoke stuff, I wonder who really manages to get their kids to sing in English in front of all of their friends. Older students will enjoy the music and will talk about the subject that the song is about, but when I decided to make a bulletin board celebrating student birthdays for each month, we made a deal: I don't have to provide a cake and they don't have to sing. They like this deal... I do give candy to the birthday kids, but baking cakes for 22 classes a week with 30 students each is a bit much for me.
