Hello,
I have a mid-2010 15" Macbook Pro (2.4 GHz core i5, 4GB RAM, 1440x900 glossy screen, 320 GB HDD) with warranty until July 4, 2011. I did not purchase the extended Apple Care Warranty, but it can be purchased any time until the original warranty expires. I feel like it is more computer than I need, so I would like to trade it for one of the 2010 Macbook Airs + cash (not a straight-up trade). My laptop is in perfect condition.
If you have a Macbook Air and want to trade up for a Macbook Pro, then send me a PM, e-mail ([email protected]) or post here. Depending on the specs of your Macbook Air, we would negotiate the amount of cash you would have to add to the deal. However, I am interested in any spec level of the air, even the basic 11" version. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks! |

I think, given the relatively small size of the audience here, that you might have better luck just selling your computer outright and then (or at the same time) posting separately to buy a MacBook Air.
As the owner of a MacBook Air, I've thought of selling -- mainly because it leaves my desk only on very rare occasions. However, my thought has been to get a new Mac mini -- not another portable. Having had other portables, I'd never go back -- not portable enough (as you may have decided).
It may be that the current value of your computer is too big a shock -- checking eBay today I found one that appears similar to yours that sold for $1000 -- Item number: 110658747631
I suspect rather than sell for that price you'd prefer to hold on to your nearly new MacBook Pro. |
