|
|
So for the last couple of days, CGTV (the channel that shows Castle), has kept running commercials for...something. I think they're going to be playing it at 10pm on Saturday?
Whatever it is, I THINK it's a Korean movie- at least a lot of the characters were wearing what looked like dynasty-era Korean hats. The wide-brimmed ones with semi-opaque fabric. What's the name for that, anyway?
Anyway, the movie itself looked to be some sort of martial-arts fantasy, in which characters would pull out little slips of paper in order to cast spells. Some scenes were in the modern day, while others were in a historical setting.
One of the historical scenes in the trailer/commercials showed what I assume to be the protagonist sweeping around and doing various magic tricks, culminating in him actually leaping INTO a painting, and then jumping around in the drawing itself.
So yeah. Seeing as of how I neither speak nor read Korean (yet! I've only been here a couple of weeks), I have no idea what this movie's title is. Don't suppose it rings a bell for anyone? And, perhaps better yet, is there any way to watch a legally subtitled version?
Thanks! |

The KOrean name for the movie is Jeon Woo-Chi.
Its a pretty good movie. Lots of fight scenes and pretty funny too.

You might find a retail DVD for rent in a shop, if so it'll likely have english subtitles on it, but you'll have better luck just downloading it. |
