Im interested in purchasing a flag. Anyone have experience with Amazon delivering flags? What is their policy on shipping items to Korea?

Thanks. Surprised

They will ship to Korea but certain electronic items may be restricted.

Keep in mind you'll pay import tax on anything $150 or more.

Amazon will deliver some things to Korea, such as books and certain household items. For example, I've had no problem getting Amazon to ship dog toys to Korea.

If you aren't sure whether Amazon will ship a flag to Korea, try buying it using the Korean address that you want it shipped to - the website will deny the purchase if you can't have it delivered to Korea. The cheapest shipping will likely cost you at least $25 and the shipment can take a few weeks to arrive.

Thanks for the quick replies. $25 seems a bit steep for shipping. Guess ill have to check out the Korean online retailers. Moved to a new apartment and the bare white walls need a big lone star flag on them. Thanks again.

Bear in mind that the customs hit for items over W150,000 includes shipping costs.

Ship to your parents house, have them repackage it. Then no stupid import tax.

This is the best advice. You've got to know someone back home who can help. Well, at least HOPEFULLY you know someone who will!

I haven't tried it yet, but I would think sending it to a military friend would also be a good option. But i'm actually not sure if it takes longer for them to get here.
