Just got back from Emart and they are selling many imported beers at 2000 won per bottle. Beers include (but not limited to) Tiger, Tsing Tao, San Miguel, Beck's and Beck's Dark, Moosehead, Kostriber, Asahi, Maisel's Weisse, MGD, Bud Ice, Hoegaarden, Miller Lite, Leffe, Bitburger, and others.
Just thought some folks might like to know.
EDITED list to correct Bud Lite to Bud Ice and add Bitburger and Miller Lite.
Update: Some of these are still available for 2000 won. Moosehead, Icehouse, and Singha are now 1000.

Ahh! I wish I had seen this earlier today!
I'm gonna roll in there and clean the place out tomorrow. Everyone stay away from eMart Times Square. |

Wow, nice list. Are you sure you saw Bud Light? I've never seen it here and always thought Korea would stick with only Bud heavy since they brew it here. |

Come to think of it, it may have been Bud Ice. |

I went to my local emart yesterday. I saw big bottles of tsingtao at 2000 won, but not the others.
I ended up buying several 500 ml cans of off-brand german beer at 1600 each, though: damburger and hackenberg.
emart is good for those off brands.
and yes, threads like these are great |

I guess not all Emarts are alike. I went back again today and it was still going on. I went to the big one in Sungsu-dong. |
