|
|
Just recieved my FBI check in the mail. I'm wondering what kind of apostille I should get? I reside in Minnesota and the Sec. of State said they would apostille my background check as long as it is notarized in the state. I'm wondering if the Korean Embassy cares if the background check is apostilled by a state or a federal agency like the Secretary of State.
Thoughts? |

Apostillepros uses a state apostille everytime they get ROK E2 requests, their CSR on the phone said they have never had one not go through. |

I wish my state would apostille federal documents.
Browsing about this forum it appears that those whose states do apostille the FBI CBC merely want that extra notarization and I have not read about anyone having difficulties with the apostille not being from the Department of State.
It's remarkable how revealing this process has become. I initially believed it would be fairly uniform and what was required of one would be required of all. Not so. Those of you with states who will apostille documents own a decided advantage over those of us forced to wait for the slow wheels of federal government bureaucracy to turn. Lucky you! |
