|
|
Hello everyone...
I've been out of Korea for about a year and a half now and I'll be marrying my girlfriend here in Canada in a couple of months. I'll then be sponsoring her permanent residency for here. Can anyone help me with what documents she will need from Korea? I'm assuming whatever she needs has to be translated and notarized also. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. |

Seriously immigration with Canada is easy enough but annoying how long it takes to gather all the paperwork and double check everything.
Do yourself a favor and spend 30 minutes looking on canadian immigration website. it HONESTLY has all the info you need. Download all the pdf's for Permanent Residency. REad them all. Print them. and re read them.
This link will have everything you need to know.
Download the application Kit.

I did it 2 years ago from Canada while my wife was still in Korea.
It took 1 month to put the immigration package together.
7 months to process and cost roughly 1500$ cnd.
and yes all her korean documents need to be translated.
No they dont need to be notarized or professionally translated.
My wife and I did it ourselves and Said so.
There was no problem. |
