Just had a warning pop up in Skype with a US accent, repeating several times that my pc is infected & I need to install a Windows patch pro maintenance, at www.sosgt.com
But when I call up that link, I get another warning from google, "danger, do not proceed, this website contains malware". Anyone else had this recently? I have only set Skype up, but have never used it. Just switched it off & changed security settings to contacts only. |

Yep downloaded from the official Skype site & my pc runs several virus scans each day. (AVG, & Windows firewall is on) Ran a manual check 2 days ago & found nothing, apart from a tracking cookie, since deleted. |

It's spam/crap. Don't visit the website anymore. What you heard was essentially the skype version of a prerecorded call. This one is fairly common. Your skype install is also fine.
They spam you, hope you buy into their message as if it was coming from Skype, and then tell you to go to that address where they both 1. Ask for money and 2. Infect your computer. |
