Yea, so that whole Christina Aguilera debacle has anthems on my mind still. So, what yours? Try to list top 3. I kind of want to say that you have to pick one that ISN'T your own, but if you truly believe yours is it then list it.

My top three are:

1. USA (yes maybe slightly biased, but it's good)

2. UK (love the militaristic tone of the second verse =)

3. South Korea (And I'm not just saying it because I live here, believe it or not it rocks)

Here's Korea's with English lyrics if you've never heard it--you probably have after local programs go off the air...)

1) The Romanian - that is a stomping tune.

2) The United States - another stomping tune.

3) The Flower of Scotland and..

4) I like 'God Defend New Zealand' and the Spanish national anthem that doesn't have any words - so I have heard.

You prefer the pop rock version? HOW can you prefer that to THIS

(which is also my favourite, incidentally. easily my favourite... South Korea has NOTHING on it. NOTHING.)

Oh and the US anthem when sung by Leslie Nielson. It's the only version I like.

Well... they're all good I suppose, even techno - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2bSj9yvjo4&feature=related

I think it just lends itself to many styles much more than crappy US anthems and so forth.

That's the absolute worst. I f'in hate that song.

I do agree about the Italian one tho. Sums up the country.

But the Marseillaise is the best by far! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBunJcr1DP8
