Out of curiosity my inability to acquire a G2 license before I return to korea has made me wonder if my G1 will pass for a accepted drivers license in korea for the "license exchange".

I haven't looked into it.
However, My guess will be NO. You have to get it verified by Canadian embassy anyways soo they will know its not a full license.

I'm in the same boat. Coming over to Korea on a G1. I will just be taking the test from scratch in Korea. Shouldn't take more than 1 month to get everything done.

I just wonder If i can take a drivers test and get the license all in one day and skip the hagwon. I drive well both Standard and Automatic. Either way its easy to get a license in Korea.
