I mean with lyrics like:
"It's Friday, Friday, Gotta get down on Friday... Everybody's looking forward to the weekend. ... Friday, Friday... Yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday. ... Tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes afterwards. ... "
This has to be the worse lyrics and singing AND video I've ever heard in my life, and she blowing up right now. I know she's a teenie bopper, but even this is too much to stomach. Usher (I think, maybe a look a like) should be banned from music, too, for appearing in the video. Please check it out:

Never heard of this chick before, but here's my analysis of the music:
Initially, pretty average. Neither her or her friends seemed much more than average. And is that a common haircut for guys now??
At night she was looking much better though. Shed probably look great airbrushed in magazines.
Then the music got a bit weird because some old tanned farmer adjossi rocked up. He didn't really fit the whole school thing being about twenty years too old for them and all.
Anyway, thats my opinion of the lyrics and musical arrangement. |

I smell a Grammy for this little lady.
Meaning her grandmother should be on her way right now to beat her for making such a terrible song and wasting 4 minutes of my life. Oops, I watched it twice, make that 8 minutes. |

This song would actually be quite a good choice for teaching English, although I'd suggest editing out the bit about parties and fun on the weekend for Korean students, they wouldn't understand. Maybe replace it with "study, and study, and study". |

I don't think anyone is seriously enjoying this... more like no one can believe how weird and awful it is... it's huge because people like to feel superior.
Every other person who has brought this up has been laughing about it, but somehow when it's brought up on Dave's, everyone is being all serious and not fun...
Personally, I think the amount of snarky condescending and generally awful people on the Internet is much more worrisome than a bunch of kids embracing some short-lived burst of banality. |

"We we we we so excited."
It WOULD be at home in an ESL classroom.
But seriously, this is the biggest piece of dead dog's d!ck. |

Guys, have you read the actual comments on youtube?
You're not supposed to get outraged and start telling people how bad it is- everyone knows it's bad... getting all upset about it just makes you look lame.
It's not like it's Nickelback or some other boring band making a boring mediocre video that doesn't leave any sort of lasting impression whatsoever... this is brilliantly bad. |

her face and voice are simultaneously annoying. the lyrics seem like it's a parody. |

Terrible song and she probably has terrible people advising her, but it seems like she had a blast making music (crap).
But this internet uproar destroying this poor girl is pretty lame. She's a kid, leave her alone.
Now,anything you put on youtube is open game, but still.
She's f'ing like 15 years old. Dissing a child is just lame. |
