hi all,

if any of the forum experts could please advise,

have been at my hogwan for 18 months and thinking about leaving before end of contract�

-am I legally entitled (will labor board back me up?) to receive 3 weeks holiday (2 weeks � 1st year, 1 week � 6months) or will the 3rd week be up to my negotiation skills?

-will I receive pro rata severance pay for the 6months of work during my 2nd year contract? I�ve heard that after your first year of employment (at the same job), severance is calculated on a pro rata basis.

-if I change jobs, will my filipina wife (f3 spouse visa) and I (E2 visa) need to leave korea to apply for new visas or can we just go to the local immigration office in korea. *nb � im aware I will need to get a letter of release, apostilled criminal record & degree.
