Can you read the label on the Wii which says what voltage it takes?

If the Wii is only set for 125V, which some things sold in America are, then you will need a voltage transformer to use a Korean adapter. Because Korean electricity is set for 250V.

Korean and North American Wiis both use the same amount of DC current and voltage spit out by either adapter, so yes: a NA Wii will work just fine on a Korean Wii adapter. Provided you didn't fry it when you plugged the NA adapter into a Korean socket, which is doubtful, likely the adapter blew something before any damage could be done to the Wii.

Go to yongsan or technomart, you can probably get one there.
Oddly enough the Wii is one of the few electronics that doesn't work on 220. I ended up buying a transformer for mine.

I bought the Korean adapter so I didn't have to lug the big brick back with me going Stateside. Works seemlessly.
