For periods of time I don't view the Korean Jobs section on Dave's. Whenever I take a look it at it always seems that it's the same old boring job offers from recruiters or other places to work. Why can't there ever be anything new, fresh and exciting?

Because hack recruiters will spam one job as many times as possible to get some fresh out of college graduate to sign on the line which is dotted and line their pockets without thinking twice.

Quantity > quality, to them.

Korea isn't about efficiency, it's about maximization. If it doesn't work one time, then just keep doing it over and over until it works.

It works with anything:

Posting job offers
"Educating" the youth
Dealing with North Korea
Waiting in line
Learning a new language
Getting married

And so on, and so forth...

You must have missed the ads for the Samsung CEO, stunt man and bikini inspector. Maybe check back next month?

I'm not completely sure what you expect from an ESL website.

Maybe an ad for Extreme English Sports Teacher. Includes, one-on-one bungee jumping English course. Try and complete the sentence before your head goes underwater.

Or..English Rulette Teacher.

Or Adult Language English Teacher needed.

Why do you want to take a cut on the normal conditions?

How about a job with the line, "We pay your health, pension and tax correctly and you are an employee" for both international and Korean teachers?

Aim higher. My conditions trump that (mostly) and there are many jobs better than mine.

Persistence. Its what Koreans admire.

Personally I would admire imagination or ingenuity far more.... but thats just me.

Good jobs aren't posted. They're gotten through word of mouth or connections. It's not just teaching jobs, but any jobs.

ditto on that, however I found my best job on daves several years ago.

Seems like there are fewer and fewer god ones, but that probably just negative sentiment shaping my perceptions

Across the board, jobs are getting worse. In all industries. Middle class is being pushed towards lower class. The good times are over. The rich are getting richer, the rest poorer.

Just wait until peak oil comes and goes.
