which would be best to live, and what are the main differences and distance to seoul?

Guri is better if you only care about Seoul. Not that much better though. It depends on whether or not you want to spend a lot of time in Seoul during the week.

Personally I prefer Bucheon and even Pyeongtaek which is twice as far as Suwon. You can go into Seoul on the weekends and avoid the congestion.

However, maybe it should boil down to the job offer. If you have a decent job offer in either, that should trump the other. Either put up with city life or longer transportation. That's only your choice.
