Having gone through the arduous and ridiculously time-consuming process of obtaining the documents necessary for visa renewal, it had been decided that we don't need them until next year. Having received these documents, I am wondering if there is a time limit on the viablility of these documents. I certainly don't want to go through the process again. In your estimation, can I submit these documents to Immigration for their database? Do we even need to submit these documents for next year's renewal? I began the process last September and received my documents in January. I would appreciate any information on this issue.
Thank you for your input. I realize it may be slightly premature, but I prefer to prepare in advance. |

Yes, you CAN submit them to Kimmi and save the necessity of doing it next year.
The CRC has an expiry of 6 months from date of issue (it must land on Kimmi's desk within 6 months or they won't accept it).
Your degree has no stale-date.

Thank you for your timely response. I really don't want to go there in person, so I will take a chance on sending them a copy. The inherent problem is that I don't know to whom to send a copy. I suppose that I can do some research and find a name.
It's really disconcerting to have to undergo this kind of circumspection.
Thank you for your reply. |

Thanks ttompatz, this is good to know. Zippy's new visa will need to be ready for the June/July time frame. He started the FBI crc back in December and it was issued sometime in January--due to expire right around the six month mark.
So this is something that he'll need to be sure to make happen. |
