I understand if you get another job before your ARC runs out you can waive the new documents until 2012. Problem is, I only have 10 days between when my job finishes and when my ARC expires. That only allows me 10 days to find another job and transfer.
Can I get an extension for 30 days to look for another job without having to get the new docs?

I have not heard anything of new 2012 rules. Unless there is a change, you can simply find a new school and transfer without submitting new documents. Even when the CBC stuff started, I didn't have to submit any of that. I got local police checks as backup but immigration never asked for it.

The only thing I had to do was get a physical for a public school position, which was paid for by the school. So, it was a non-issue.

You should look for a new job before your current contract runs out. Don't wait until your job finishes.

Thanks. And yes if you were here before 2011, are are allowed one status change by waiving the new docs.
But I'm wondering about the time after my current contract finishes and when my ARC expires...

No.

Find one within 10 days or start again from scratch.
