|
|
I live in the Buk-gu area and am looking for a police station to get my fingers printed. There is a police station across the street from my Hogwan (ECC) BUT when I went there I couldn't get in the door, it didn't seem there was anyone there. So I guess I should find another one? If anyone could help I'd appreciate it. |

Do you know what a police station in Korea looks like?
It's the same as the one you tried to enter. They're all over Korea. |

You can't go to just any police station. You have to go to a branch HQ like Yongsan.

If you are American, you can also go to the Driver's License office near the USO at Camp Kim (Samgakji area). I think it's open from 8 or 9 am until 4 or 4:30. I can't remember the hours clearly, but I found it quite easy. |

i brought my NY state ID to Camp Kim today and they no longer process fingerprints for non-military personnel. You have to go to Yongsan Police HQ or any Police HQ for them. I went without any translator and had very little problems. However, I've heard horror stories about unprofessional policemen f*ing around and just smudging prints just to experience how to do it. Make sure whoever is doing it is taking the job seriously so you don't have to go through with it again. |

Go to the CSI division of the Jongro-gu police station near Anguk Station in Seoul. I had my fingerprints done there, and they were great. |
