Who does the cheapest flights to the UK? I'm thinking of Scotland in particular and during July. |

Not going to try to give you a definitive answer but I recommend Emirates via Dubai..
Coming here, they were comfortably the cheapest, save for some unappealing Chinese airline. What's more they offered fifty percent more baggage allowance than most (30 instead of 20kg/ 66lb instead of 44lb).
It does seem they're more expensive going in the opposite direction particularly at that time of year.
One other thing in their favour over most other options is the flexibility to get to regional destinations in two rather than 3 flights. E.g. I flew out of Birmingham, rather than London, for the same price. I imagine this applies to Glasgow as well |

As mentioned above, Emirates and KLM are your two main options. I've also been looking for flights to Scotland or the north of England this summer and these two airlines come out with similar prices. If anything, Emirates seems slightly cheaper than KLM although not by a lot.
With Emirates, you'd depart Incheon just before midnight and arrive in Glasgow early afternoon local time. KLM is a early afternoon departure from ICN and you get to either Glasgow or Edinburgh late evening.
KLM have the best range of regional destinations in the UK, but Emirates aren't bad either. If you're headed to Scotland, Emirates have daily flights to both Glasgow and, if it's southern Scotland you're headed to, Newcastle.
The only cheaper options I've come across included Aeroflot to London, which might be a good deal if (a) you can find a suitably cheap way of getting from London to Scotland and (b) you don't mind flying with Aeroflot (see the other thread specifically about that); the other cheaper deal I've found was with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) via Beijing/Tokyo and Copenhagen. But that was an extra transfer and a total of nearly 40 hours travelling time for only about 200k less than KLM or Emirates. |

Try airasia.com I have never flown them but they always have specials on. Also
try elong.net for their monthly deals from China (all airlines). If you can get a
cheap flight to the PRC you may save a great deal of $. There was also a
Korean site offering deals but I have forgotten the name. Try searching for it
on this forum if you have the time. |

Try Finnair.com
Reasonably priced and only takes 15 hours or so. |

Echoing Emirates, KLM, and also Qatar Airways.
You can get cheap deals with China Southern/Cathay if you're willing to do 2 stopovers, but that'd be a pain in the ass.
However, nothing is going to be cheap. You're looking at about 1.4million+ for a roundtrip ticket. Try Momondo or Dohop for flight deals.
