So, I have this silver ring I've had for ages.
It began to tarnish, so I did that experiment where you mix baking soda in hot water and spread aluminum foil on the bottom of a pan. You drop the ring in and the aluminum absorbs the sulfide using the baking soda as a conduit.
It worked. But the thing is, I did it in one of those cheap yellow coated aluminum pots.
It got rid of the tarnish, but now my silver ring absorbed the yellow coating!
Now, I'm not sure what to do, or how to remove it, cause I have no idea what that yellow coating is!
