Okay now that I see what you posted, allow me say before anyone else who hates you gives you crap: That video is played out already. Seriously. It was played out like, 3 days after it broke big on reddit and facebook.

Get with the times, man!

It wasn't posted here. I assumed it was, but now, being reminded of it, I see it wasn't.

Ha! I just guess I'm jaded because it's been so over-posted on social media sites that I simply can't even like it as an ironic song anymore, now it's just "ugh, there's that damned song again".

But really, who hasn't heard this by now? Anyone? Not attack interestedinhanguk, more the shut-ins who haven't been forced to listen to that god-awful song yet. Get out more, you people.

I've introduced it to a few people in the past 2 days. I only know about it from one facebook post of a friend.

Anyways, we should enjoy getting to see as many people as possible suffer.

It really shows you something about how horrible western culture is when the biggest problems that face our youth today are deciding which seat to sit in: the front or the back?

Maybe it's an innuendo?

Whatever, I'll just go back to watching TNG.

The girl is 13 years old-- I really don't think it's fair to expect a deep meaningful meditation on the nature of our existence.

Anyway, while we're posting videos, this is one of my all-time favorites:

I would bet that she's some record exec's granddaughter/niece...she's not attractive/charismatic enough to make it on looks, and her voice is completely auto-tuned so it's obvious she can't hold a note. Usually you need at least one of those two qualities to catch a break like this.

This must be a conversation about "Friday".

Personally, I feel it's a bit refreshing to see someone so young exhibit a bit of snark towards the music industry. It goes to show just how ridiculous it's become if 13 year-olds are making fun of it. The sad thing is, most people probably don't realize it's satire. (Is it? Who was it that said that the best satire was indistinguishable from reality?)

If people were actually nice to each other as opposed to only trying to feel superior to everyone else, this video wouldn't be an issue.

It's not deep and meaningful and yeah, it's pretty dumb, but what I don't get is all the hate and drama over it. It's a lot better than Deerhunter or some boring indie band like that.

I never heard it. But then again, I'm just a shut-in who doesn't get out much... Laughing
