| My friend told me she did not ask for the FBI seal and signature (basically not getting the apostille) but rather requested from the FBI that they notarize the document? Would this be acceptable to Korean Immigration or is the apostille absolutely required ? |

Apostille (legalization (under treaty) for use abroad) is absolutely required.

| You need to get it notarised by the FBI before you get it apostillised |
