|
|
I've recently apostilled my FBI check through the State of MN and am wondering if this will work for the E-2 visa process? I've noticed some job ads stating that you need the apostille through the US State Dept. Has anyone done it through the state or has their been any changes in the regulation?
Thanks for the help!

Jesse I know it does vary by state if your state will Apostille a Federal document or not.
I'm in Ohio and when I called my SOS they do not I have to send to Washington DC.
I was also going to send 2 notarized copies of my diploma to the DOS along with my CBC also to have an Apostille and the information is conflicting if the DOS does "state" documents.
It states on this they dont: http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/c16921.htm
But on this it says the opposite http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/# |

Kimmi will accept state apostilles. Whether your specific state will apostille, best to call to find out.
You can get it done quickly via apostillepros.com if you're in a time crunch, like I was. |

I just sent Zippy's this week to Pennsylvania's DOS along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope for them to send it directly to him in Busan.
I haven't heard back from them to the contrary, so I'm hoping it's on it's way to him now. |

kimmi doesn't care. It's just whether your state will do it or not. |
