|
|
I live in Anyang. In the coming week I'll decide upon where to bank in Korea.
In my first month here I've generally used my US credit card for purchases. So for choosing a bank my main criterion is ease/ cost of making a payment towards that card balance.
This will be my first Korean bank account, so I'm unfamiliar with the rules/ regulations/ costs usually associated with this.
Citibank has a large presence in my area, and I've got a Citibank credit card. But I've got a second credit card as well, to which I'll also make a monthly payment. If a foreign credit card payment is legally the same as an account transfer, then to transfer my Korean funds into my US checking account is best.
What do you think? |

You will have to send money to an American bank account and then make payments from that account. |
