"Negative descriptions such as "Korean doctors get angry when they are asked questions during medical examinations," are expressed in the book"

I have had this happen. The Korean doctors I have seen were in a hurry and had many patients waiting.

Are Korean doctors happy to answer questions?

I've only had one experience with a Korean doctor, but he should be given an award for patience for having to deal with me. I am the world's biggest wuss when it comes to doctors, especially if it involves needles. The poor man had to deal with me every morning for two weeks straight. He never got impatient once, and always gave me super-detailed explanations.

They don't give you drugs that cure what you have.

Example. My co-worker was sick with ear infection.
Doctor gave her the usual bag of drugs.
10 days later, moved to throat infection.
Found out after 4 more days, she was given synthetic drugs rather than good old penicillin or similar.
Went back to doctor and refused to move until penicillin was prescribed.
Cost this far: 270,000 won on visitis and drugs.

My girlfriend has been crook for a while. i suspect the same thing is going on.
