I recall once having found information on a beer pub (or something of that sort) in Gunpo, I believe. In the picture, bottles of a variety of beers were displayed in the window. I'm not a huge drinker, but I very much miss North American craft beer. So now I'm a bit frustrated with myself for not having taken better note of this place, assuming it actually has craft ales.
Do you know of it?
If not, do you know of anywhere in the Anyang area that one can find ale brewed with an appreciable hop addition? Korean people seem so fond of strong flavors, but why not hops? Ah well :) |

You could try "CraftWorks" near Iteawon. Their beer is likely the best you can get in Korea. Join the homebrewkorea.com forums and learn how to brew your own. The meetups are a blast! |
