|
|
I've recently had my ORIGINAL copy of my degree requested by a potential employer, if I sigh the contract and take the job.
I don't feel particularly comfortable with this. I've got a notarized copy of my degree I would be happy to send them.
Is this standard practice? Is the original actually needed for immigration purposes?
Need some advice, thank you in advance. |

| No, don't send the original, send the copy with the notarization and apostille. |

They do NOT need the original (for anything) any more.
You should bring it with you (along with another copy that has an apostille - insurance).

| No never give them your original and don't bring the original with you as you might lose it. It's not needed or required. |
