|
|
Hi,
I have an x61 with a small capacity hard drive which all runs on Vista.
There is a noise from the disk at times, and I would also like to get win7.
Is it possible to replace the disk with a larger one which runs win7? |

Yes. You can upgrade the HDD. You could do it yourself, find a computer engineer, or just bring it to thew Lenovo A/S center.
Any HDD can have Windows 7 installed on it........I imagine you'll want a 500GB drive in there. Windows 7 uses approx 22GB of space. |

10-20k for the labor
HDD price will vary with size (50-100k won).
win7 upgrade = free from a torrent site, 150-200k won (depending on version) at the MS store in Yongsan.
