There seem to be a good number of expat food bloggers in Korea. I check some of the blogs on a fairly regular basis, but to help both the noobs and long-timers discover new blogs, name your favorite site with a short description.

Take it all with a grain of salt. They all eat at the same places and love every restaurant, especially the ones that comp them. |

I've always checked out Seoul Eats and Zen Kimchi. They've offered good recommendations for places I never would have known of otherwise. |

Another recommendation for http://www.aliensdayout.com/ . Great food photography, accurate directions to otherwise unknown restaurants, and excellent writing. |

+1 for Zen Kimchi and Seoul Eats
We also have a site with restaurant reviews in Seoul, but our main focus is on our city of Ansan. Feel free to check it out here: www.ansananswers.com |

i hate to break it to you, but granola bars rarely contain bacon. every granola bar is vegetarian. those special "weird" granola bars you were slagging are likely the same as every other granola bar you've ever eaten.
chill with the insecure defensiveness already. nobody cares what you eat. |

+1. At least people here will be negative.
Are there any blogs where people can tell me which places suck?
I always hear "Fabulous" Ive wasted so many "1 good foreign meal for the next three months" while in Seoul following the crappy advice. |

The newbies don't realize it but eventually they'll learn that same lesson. Don't trust the "I love every restaurant" food bloggers. Besides, you can always tell when they get comped because they don't even mention the prices, or they say something ridiculous about prices like "It's only 12,000 for two eggs, two pieces of toast, and a glass of OJ." Ahhhhhhhh, read those reviews again and you'll see. No mention of prices and they were comped, for certain. If you go to a restaurant and you pay for everything, don't you remember the price? |
