Just a what if question: I am hoping to get an LOR

If an employer provides a LOR, how long after your last day of employment can you use that LOR to obtain new employment (ie get the visa transfer done)?
Can your old employer at any point call KIMMI and have your visa cancelled making the transfer impossible? Like this scenario: you get the LOR, work your last day, and then your old boss gets spiteful and decides to try to screw you.

LOR is good for 30 days (insofar as a transfer is concerned).
If you want to transfer your visa to new employer the new contract must begin within 30 days of the termination of your old job.

If you just want it to cancel your visa then re-apply for a new visa then it doesn't matter but make sure you don't overstay your E2 (you MUST either:
a) LEAVE Korea within 15 days of the termination of employment UNLESS
b) you notify Kimmi - then you get 30 days to get a new job or leave the country).
