He's better getting his tution in his first language. TOEIC is not related to learning English but passing an English test. The strategies used to get a good 'score' are used by thousands of Korean English teachers who make a lot of money from doing this. Perhaps not the answer you're looking for but it will save you and him a lot of hassle. He can pay privately for his tution or pay one of the many language mills to get him a good 'score.' That's my advice!!

That's what is worrying me marra, the fact that you're posting on here for advice regarding TOEIC, perhaps you're better to pass him on to a L1 'teacher' who can give him the tuition to gain the TOEIC score he requires. You provide him with a language programme for the four core areas of EFL: listening, speaking, reading and writing. TOEIC could send a glass eye to sleep, if you catch my drift!! Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink
