Greets,
My last day of work is April 18th (a Monday, sucks). Anyway, I was talking to my co-teacher about my severance and deposit. She said I might get my severance with my last month pay, but the administration lady said it would be maybe June until I get my deposit back. I right away said no, it should not take that long. Is there some sort of law on how long they can make me wait? |

No.
There may, however, be a clause in your contract about it. Which would have legal implications. If there isn't anything about it in your contract then I guess you'll just have to wait. |

Don't listn to the fools who actually think they know something.
Yes, there is. They have one month, by law, from your last working day to pay you, both your salary and severence.
If they're saying it'll take longer, call the Labor Board and have them set them straight. |

Yes, it's one month. But things like this are the reason we say "HELL NO" to deposits. |
